Crochet Crocodile Baby Bottle Warmer




What you need

5mm Crochet Hook
2 x 50g DK (Light Worsted Weight )Yarn
Stitch Marker or Scrap Yarn
Sewing Needle
Scissor
Baby Bottle To Measure Against


Method

Row 1, Magic Circle, 6 Single Crochet, Slip stitch to first single crochet to join, chain 1
Row 2, Single Crochet 2 in each stitch around, slip stitch to first stitch of the round and chain 1, Place marker on first st(12)
Row 3, Single Crochet 1, single crochet 2 in the next stitch, repeat pattern ending with 2 single crochet in the last stitch, slip stitch into your first stitch, chain 1,(18)
Row 4, Single Crochet 1 in the next 2 stitches then 1 single crochet in the 3rd, repeat pattern around, slip stitch into the first stitch, chain1 (24)
Rows 5-6, 1 Single Crochet around, slip stitch into the first stitch, chain 1 (24)
Row 7, Chain 4 (counts as 1 double crochet and chain 1), Skip 2 Stitches on 3rd Stitch do 2 double crochet and chain 1, Skip 2 Stitches on the 3rd Stitch do 1 double crochet and chain 1, Skip 2 Stitches on the 3rd Stitch do 2 double crochet and chain 1, repeat pattern ( until you have 4 V and 4 One double crochet around ) Slip Stitch on 3rd chain to join, chain 1, slip stitch, chain 1.
Row 8, (Shell Stitch/Fan) 5 backpost double crochet, chain 1, 5 backwards post stitches double crochet, chain 1, slip stitch on top of 1 double crochet, chain 1, repeat pattern around, slip stitch on 3rd chain to join, chain 1, cut yarn.
Row 9, Attach new yarn (Shell/Fan), chain 4, (counts as 1 double crochet and chain 1), Over your 1 double crochet st ( From row 7) do 2 double crochet, chain 1, 1 double crochet in Middle of (Shell/Fan), chain 1, repeat pattern around.  Slip stitch on 3rd chain to join, chain 1.
Row. 10, Repeat row 8

Repeat rows 9 and 10, alternating yarn colours until you have 4 shell rows of yarn A and 4 shell rows of Yarn B. You should end with Yarn B. 

Rows 23-24 In yarn A or B, 1 Single Crochet around (use stitch marker if needed )

Cut yarn and weave in ends.

0-3 months knitted baby booties | Bobble Edging


What you will need

50g DK (light worsted weight) yarn
4mm knitting needles
4mm crochet hook
Sewing needle
Scissors

Size
4mm 0-3 months
4.5mm 3-6 months
5mm 6-9 months

Make Two

Cast on 40
Rows 1- 11 Seed stitch
(Row 1 K1, P1. Row 2 P1, K1. These 2 rows make the seed st)
 
Row 12  P1, K1 for 14 Stitches, P2tog, K8, P2tog, Turn your work around.
Row 13 P9, P2tog, Turn your work around.
Row 14 K9, P2tog, Turn your work around.

Repeat rows 13 and 14 until you have 28 sts left

For the last row Row 22  K9, P2tog, K1, P1, to the end of the row (28)

Rows 1-18  K1, P1,

Edging /bobbles

Cast off 1 st. *Place the st back onto the LH needle, Cast on 2 sts (3sts), Cast off 4 sts. Repeat from* to end of row

Secure the end, fold your work with the WS facing and sew the seam. You can use a crochet hook and slip st along the edge if you prefer

Rows 1-6 Garter stitch (Knit all 6 rows)

Row 9  K9, P2tog, Turn your work around
Rows 10 - 17 Repeat rows 8 and 9 until you have 28 sts. Knit to the end of the row (28)
Rows 18-21  K2, P2,
Rows 22-24 Garter stitch (Knit all 3 rows)
Cast off and sew the seam

How To Crochet A 6 Petal Flower

What you will need: 

4mm crochet hook
2x 50g DK (light worsted weight) yarn
Scissors


Foundation Row Magic ring - chain 1 and then 6 single crochet into the centre, slip stitch with new yarn, cut previous yarn,
Petal 1 Chain 6, In the 2nd from hook, working in just the top loop, do 1 single crochet, in the following 5 sts work 1 double crochet, 1 treble crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 single crochet.  Slip stitch to join where new colour was added.You will now work on the other side of your ch 6, slip into the first ch, In the following stitches, you'll work 1 single crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 treble crochet, 1 double crochet and at the very top 1 single crochet.  Slip st down all the sts on the left of the petal. When you get to the bottom you will slip st into the next st along.

Repeat Petal 1 until you have 6 petals in all. When you have finished all 6 slip st in the base of your first Ch 6


Cut and pull on yarn to fasten.

How-To Crochet A 10 Petal Flower


What you will need:

4.00mm crochet hook
2 x 50g DK (light worsted weight)  yarn
Scissor


Foundation Row Magic ring - chain 1 and then 10 double crochet into the ring. Slip into the first st with your new colour and cut yarn
Row 1  Chain 6. Miss the first stitch, single crochet into the next st, *Ch6, single crochet into the next st.  Repeat from* around.  Slip stitch to where you joined in your new yarn.  

Cut yarn and fasten off. Lightly pull the strands at the back if you feel the centre is opening, this should secure it. You can tie the strands at the back to stop it from opening  further. The tails can also be used to attach the flower to other items such as bags and hats etc...

How To Crochet Hair On A Doll | Fringe/Bangs



What you'll need

Crochet hook (I'm using a 5mm)
Yarn (DK/Light Worsted Weight)
Sewing Needle

This written pattern is intended as a continuation of the doll tutorial I created. You will need to have crocheted a hair base to continue. This just an example of how to create the fringe/bangs, feel free to change the style and make it your own.

Strand 1 To begin make a slip knot on the left (your right) side of the head and chain 6
In the 2nd chain from the hook Single crochet back towards the hair base.
Slip stitch into the the stitch next to the one you started in.

Strands 2 and 3 Slip stitch in to the next two stitches and chain 7.
In the 2nd chain from the hook Single crochet back towards the hair base.
Slip stitch into the the stitch next to the one you started in.

Repeat as many times as you want.

Pin down the strands into the style you desire and sew them in place
